ALL ON 4 DENTAL IMPLANT BRIDGE:

What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 includes four dental implants per arch, so if you’re having full-mouth teeth replacement, you’ll have a total of eight implants, fewer than you would with traditional dental implants.

The Dental Surgeon places two of the implants closer to the front of each arch, usually around the canines, and the other two in the molar area. In addition to the implants, the All-on-4 system includes a bridge that’s typically made of zirconia.

When is All-on-4 better than dentures or full-mouth implants?

All on 4 is a permanent solution to completely missing teethThis is a fixed, non-removable option that looks and acts like teeth.

How does the All-on-4 process work?

The All-on-4 process generally takes several visits from start to finish. As long as you have sufficient healthy bone to support the All-on-4 implants, your dentist next creates molds of one or both arches. These molds act as a pattern to create your dental bridge.

Usually, you get a temporary denture bridge on the same day you get your implants installed. You’ll wear that temporary denture bridge for several months while your mouth adjusts to the new dental implants. Once your dental implants are fully integrated into your jawbone, making them very stable, your dentist creates a new permanent denture bridge and anchors it to the implants.
